Bremen schools have consistently ranked among the best in Georgia for many years. Our students regularly perform at or near the top of the state's best scores in academics and other areas as well. Our arts program boasts multiple championships in literary and performance competitions. Our athletic programs are consistently competitive, and we possess multiple individual and team state championship titles.
Bremen City Schools has a long tradition of being one of the best K-12 school districts in the State of Georgia and we intend on making sure that continues. In order to continue to provide an excellent educational experience for our students and remain a point of pride in our community, we will remain focused on excellence in all we do.
On August 15, 2005, Army Sergeant Paul Saylor died while serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Paul was known for putting others first, and in that spirit, Paul’s 2002 graduating class have presented the idea of building a new scoreboard for the high school stadium in honor or Paul and all other veterans. As part of the BHS stadium renovation, individual student recognition
plates are being sold for $100 per plate. Plates will be displayed on a “Champions Way”
wall which will be constructed near the front entrance.
